POWER OF THE FALLS YOUTH MINISTRY - Currently on Hold
Our youth will birth our next generation upon the earth. They will be tomorrow's leaders in the workforce, in government, and in schools. We want to equip them with the tools they need, the wisdom to succeed, and the courage to face tomorrow with the faith of a warrior.
1 Timothy 4:12 "Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

We take pride in providing them a safe and peaceful place to grow, learn, build friendships, and seek the face of God. Our passion is to teach them how to have a personal relationship with God, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and walk in the fruit of the Spirit.
A message to our youth. "Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, be firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world."-1 Peter 5:5-9 |
The Gifts of the Spirit
We try to inspire our youth to use every gift, talent, and skill God has given them for the benefit of all. It is when they feel unappreciated, unaccepted, and discouraged; that they seek attention from the wrong crowd or seek out negative attention from parents and teachers.
We do not want to encourage laziness, disrespectful behavior, or boredom. That is why we keep the youth encouraged, supported, and using all their gifts and talents for the ministry and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."-1 Peter 4:10
We want all the youth to experience God in a real and personal way. To know His presence, feel the fire of the Holy Spirit, and walk in a newness of mind. Their intimate relationship with God will give them the desire to do good instead of evil, to give instead of steal, and to live in peace and harmony with all people.
